Bilingual Store Manager - Contract

Our BonLook boutique in Montreal Royalmount is looking for someone like you, who will be able to take advantage of your exceptional skills and experience within our team as a store manager.

This is a full-time contract with a fixed term until October 2027, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week. Our clinic is open from Monday to Sunday, and availability on evenings and weekends is required.

The store manager is responsible for all aspects of the branch's operation, including strategy and staff development. They must ensure that tasks related to various retail business domains are completed and contribute to the customer experience. The responsibilities of a store manager also include developing the skills within the team to implement the company's strategies and achieve the desired operational results.

Main Responsibilities

• Encourage staff development through our core values
• Hold the team accountable for results and initiate crucial conversations when needed
• Develop a strategy to ensure a strong reserve of leaders
• Recruit and hire individuals who match the company culture and BonLook's vision
• Develop strategies and initiatives within the store to achieve company goals
• Manage team results through continuous support
• Develop visual merchandising strategies based on market and store layout to support sales
• Provide feedback at the appropriate time based on sales plans and key performance indicators
• Achieve results that meet or exceed company goals and optimize store profitability
• Manage schedules according to business trends (workforce management)
• Be responsible for quarterly and annual operations and strategies
• Collaborate with the optician to optimize the customer experience
• Represent the BonLook brand: apply company values and brand image at all times
• Be well-versed in and understand the company's history and vision and be able to inspire the team
• Inventory management

Required Profile

• Bilingualism (French/English) is necessary to communicate daily with our patients and/or clients
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in retail
• Professional studies diploma or certificate in business administration or a related field
• Human Resources knowledge: recruiting staff, training, staff development, and performance management
• Excellent communication skills with clarity and conciseness and active listening
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills
