About the EXPÉ festival

The EXPÉ Festival is an outdoor, adventure, and community-focused event that brings together a varied program of workshops, conferences, activities, and performances over three days.

In a context of growth, the organization seeks to strengthen its board of directors with an experienced person in management to support its structuring and development.

Role of the Administrator

As a member of the board of directors, you will contribute to the strategic orientations and sound governance of the organization.

You will act as a partner for reflection with the management and actively participate in key decisions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in board of directors meetings (approximately 8 to 12 per year)
• Contribute to the strategic orientations of the organization
• Ensure sound governance and responsible management
• Analyze and approve budgets, financial statements, and major decisions
• Support the management in growth and structuring challenges
• Act in the best interest of the organization (duty of loyalty and diligence)
• Desired Profile

Experience

• Significant experience in management, administration, or organizational development
• Experience in governance or on a board of directors (important asset)
• Experience in event management, OBNL, or organizational growth (asset)

Desired Skills

• Strategic vision and analytical mindset
• Financial understanding (reading financial statements, budgets)
• Judgment and ability to make decisions
• Rigor, integrity, and sense of responsibility
• Ability to challenge constructively

Commitment

• 2-year term (renewable)
