As an IT Security Advisor, you contribute to the protection of IT resources, networks, software, and data against any modification, destruction, accidental disclosure, or unauthorized use. You are the reference point for your peers on best practices and work with them to develop operational procedures to keep our risks at a minimum. In our primarily cloud-based ecosystem, you analyze security incidents, perform regular checks, produce performance metrics, and provide improvement recommendations regarding vulnerabilities and risks to our operations.

• Perform vulnerability analyses and work with affected teams to find mitigation solutions;
• Perform analyses and investigations of compromise indicators during security incidents;
• Contribute to IT development projects to assess their impact on data confidentiality, integrity, and access;
• Lead the cybersecurity awareness initiative;
• Perform various periodic reviews and checks to ensure the IT infrastructure remains compliant and secure;
• Collaborate on the development of hardening measures for different components of our ecosystem;
• Define, with your supervisor, information security orientations and perform risk analyses;
• Maintain a security watch to understand and anticipate trends in our sector and best practices in cybersecurity;
• Produce monthly statistical reports on the state of information security within the company;
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of policies, directives, standards, procedures, and guidelines related to the company's regulatory framework.

YOUR ASSETS

• You hold a university degree in computer science, telecommunications, or a related field;
• You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security;
• You are comfortable working in diverse, complex situations and have a good sense of priorities;
• You have a strong understanding of security, system, and infrastructure architecture and integration concepts;
• You have solid knowledge of Microsoft security tools such as MDATP, CloudAppSecurity, Identity Protection, o365, Exchange Online, Sentinel, Azure Security Center;
• Knowledge of Fortigate firewall technologies;
• Knowledge of SCADA/ICS (Industrial Control System) networks;
• Knowledge of industry best practices, frameworks, and regulations such as NIST, ISO2700x, CISSP, GIAC;
• CISSP or CISA certification would be an asset;
• This position is set in a French-speaking work environment, but requires excellent English skills to write and communicate with Canadian clients, suppliers, or colleagues on a daily basis.
