Automation Services Designer

As an Automation Services Designer, you are recognized for your expertise in solution design, your ability to simplify complex environments, and your capacity to transform business needs into valuable solutions. In this role, you will act as a solution automation designer, guiding partners in analyzing complex issues and designing high-performance, scalable, and sustainable automated services. We are seeking a person who can challenge the status quo, simplify processes, and propose pragmatic, simple, and robust approaches. A deep understanding of design principles and the ability to distinguish the essential from the accessory will be crucial to the success of the proposed solutions. You will also maintain a constant watch on technological trends, industry practices, and emerging market solutions to identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and optimization that can create value for the organization. Your expertise will enable you to guide technological choices based on business needs, platform evolution, and industry best practices. You will also act as an expert advisor to teams and business partners. You will guide participants in analyzing and defining their needs, influence technological orientations, and contribute to resolving complex issues. You will challenge expressed needs to target true business issues, simplify complex problems, and guide decisions towards high-value solutions. Your leadership influence, collaborative approach, and analytical, synthesis, and communication skills will be key assets for the success of automation and modernization initiatives. Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Design and Automation

+ Act as a solution automation designer to design integrated services that meet business and operational needs.

+ Define architectures, standards, best practices, and associated documentation.

+ Analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

+ Design simple, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

+ Recommend solutions to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

+ Coordinate the delivery of solutions with the development team.

+ Contribute to the evolution of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Data Mastery

+ Simplify data models and operational processes.

+ Reduce data, validations, and controls without added value.

+ Ensure that collected data meets a clearly identified business need.

+ Ensure that exception cases do not influence the general design of solutions.

• Transformation, Modernization, and Integration

+ Define and implement application and service modernization strategies.

+ Ensure the integration of new solutions with existing systems.

+ Guide the development of automation, REST API, and integration solutions.

+ Develop automation mechanisms for operations, deployments, and validations.

+ Promote DevOps practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

+ Reduce technical debt and improve the maintainability of solutions.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant discipline
• At least six years of relevant experience in solution design, automation, or software development
• Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
• Significant experience in process transformation and application modernization
• Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing automation opportunities
• Experience in complex technological environments
• Experience with .NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Telerik, and PowerShell
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with Git
• Experience in REST API design
• French language proficiency required
• Proficiency in SCCM, Citrix, Intune, Windows, and SQL Server
• Knowledge of Patch My PC and Denodo
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and application security
