Salary Range: Between $75,000 - $125,000 CAD per year

Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Manage major projects and programs within the company's various services, including finance, engineering, procurement, production, and quality.
  • Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) to effectively plan, monitor, and control project performance, including tracking cost and schedule variances against established baselines.
  • Demonstrated experience in document configuration management and Windchill or equivalent platform.
  • Lead strategic projects and provide support for RFPs and proposals.
  • Provide advice and make decisions regarding project-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with program internal procedures and project control directives.
  • Ensure interface and manage relationships and expectations of national and international clients.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders and departments to ensure technical compliance, adherence to schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage suppliers/subcontractors and product manufacturers for projects.
  • Assess project risks and develop mitigation plans, if necessary.
  • Review project expenses, receipts, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress reports and lead and participate in internal monthly project status reviews.
  • Keep leadership fully informed of progress made.
  • Availability for business travel up to 10% of the time.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or management.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience.
  • PMP certification would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of the industry, generally acquired through a combination of training and experience. Practical knowledge of project management is essential.
  • Familiarity with naval systems would be an asset.
  • Experience in coordinating project activities between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to support design, test, and implementation phases.
  • Strong skills in developing and tracking project schedules, risk management, and cost tracking, using proven project management tools and processes.
  • Active participation in preparing project plans, technical documentation, change requests, and progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier deliverables, track key execution steps, and support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
  • Organized and structured approach, with the ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling the transmission of project status, constraints, and decisions to technical teams, management, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and complete tasks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (MS Project, SharePoint, collaborative project management platforms).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in French and English. Proficiency in English, in addition to French, is required to meet contractual requirements.

  • Be admissible to the Controlled Goods Program registration;
  • Be admissible to obtain and maintain the Canadian government's Reliability and Security Clearance Level II / NATO Secret ratings;
