The Laboratory Testing Specialist is responsible for the daily execution of testing activities.

The person ensures that work is carried out safely, uniformly, and in accordance with established procedures, while producing reliable and traceable results for engineering, quality, and project management teams.

Your role will consist of

• Executing test plans and product, component, and measurement system validation procedures.
• Installing, using, and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Performing various tests (functional, performance, precision, stability, and repeatability) according to established methods.
• Preparing laboratory samples, reagents, and materials, while ensuring their safe handling and storage.
• Identifying anomalies, participating in root cause analyses, and proposing corrective actions.
• Applying analytical chemistry principles for test preparation, calibrations, measurement validation, and result interpretation.
• Analyzing test data, evaluating trends, deviations, and sources of uncertainty, and producing rigorous technical reports.
• Ensuring complete traceability of tests, equipment, methods, and results.
• Participating in the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of test methods and laboratory practices.
• Ensuring compliance with quality, calibration, health, and safety standards, as well as maintaining a clean and organized laboratory.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support research and development projects and communicate test results.
• Participating in knowledge transfer, user training, and internal audits related to laboratory activities.

To be the person we are looking for, you must

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related scientific discipline (an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered).
• Have advanced English, both spoken and written.
• Possess strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques.
• Have experience in sample preparation, calibrations, method validation, and the use of laboratory instruments.
• Understand the principles of metrology, quality assurance, quality control, and measurement uncertainty.
• Be comfortable with the analysis of experimental data and the use of basic statistical methods.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, result tracking, and report generation.
• Be familiar with good laboratory practices, including the safe handling of chemical products.
• Have experience in a R&D, product validation, analytical laboratory, or quality control environment.
• Have participated in the writing or improvement of laboratory procedures, test methods, or technical reports.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, rigor, and a good sense of organization.
