Description

Located in Candiac on the south shore of Montreal and employing approximately 400 employees, FENPLAST INC. is a company that operates in the manufacturing of doors and windows.

Fenplast is looking to implement and update its preventive and corrective planned maintenance program in order to improve its internal processes and enhance its production service offering. To achieve this, Fenplast is seeking an experienced individual who will be responsible for maximizing the use of our GMAO and ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of its processes.

As part of the operations team, the Maintenance Planner ensures the implementation and follow-up of the preventive program with the maintenance team, all according to the changing needs of production.

Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance and Engineering, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for:

  • Updating, implementing, and improving the current preventive program;
  • Coordinating with production to plan necessary preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment;
  • Preparing preventive tasks and training maintenance technicians;
  • Developing performance and tracking indicators for preventive maintenance;
  • Conducting periodic audits;
  • Analyzing recurring maintenance issues and participating in the search for solutions to stabilize equipment.

Skills Description

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written);
  • Ability to work under pressure in an environment where customer demands are prioritized and constantly evolving;
  • Strong analytical skills and analytical thinking;
  • Leadership;
  • Demonstrates initiative, diligence, and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in the following software: Office Suite and GMAO;
  • Customer service-oriented. Possesses a good team spirit;
  • Technical knowledge in pneumatics, mechanics, and electricity.

Required Language(s): Bilingualism (French and English) both orally and in writing is essential.

Job Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in maintenance management or equivalent experience related to the job.
