Permanent full-time day job opportunity.

As a psychoeducator in the youth protection program, you will work with children aged 0-18 who are affected by neglect, rejection, and physical, sexual, and/or psychological abuse and behavioral disorders, as well as their parents. Additionally, you will work with a diverse bilingual clientele from various communities (cultural, ethnic, LGBTQ2SIA+, etc.) across the Montérégie territory.

Assessment

• Apply the Youth Protection Act, the Health and Social Services Act, and the protocols that follow
• Evaluate the situation and living conditions of children for whom a report has been received
• Decide if safety and/or development are compromised
• Apply the multisectoral agreement in cases of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and serious neglect

Orientation

• Orient and propose measures to families to end the compromising situation
• Work with network intervenors and those of our organization under the supervision of the head of service
• Determine the best measures and their duration
• Clarify the child's life project

It is now established that an employed person holding a full-time position, when membership in this professional order is a requirement of the position, can be reimbursed 50% of the payment of the membership fee to their professional order up to an annual amount of $400.

• Salary between $31.06 and $55.04 according to your experience

Requirements

• Essential traces (requirements in Health and Social Services)
• Master's degree in psychoeducation.
• Must be a member of the Order of Psychoeducators and Psychoeducatrices of Québec.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Be available in the evening according to the needs of the clientele
• Vehicle required and valid driver's license (no restrictions)
