Would you like to improve the comfort and quality of life for elderly individuals living in CHSLD in the Saint-Hyacinthe region? With autonomy to organize your work across various care centers under your responsibility? Become a dental hygienist for the Support for Autonomy of the Elderly (SAPA) department of the Integrated Health and Social Services Center.

Full-time, permanent position on a day shift for Santé Québec - Eastern Montérégie. The selected person may be called upon to work in all care centers across the territory as part of their duties.

Make our community better by

• Developing specific education and prevention programs in dental hygiene based on general programs;
• Conducting buccal dental evaluations of residents and referring as needed (dentist or denturist);
• Providing preventive care: scaling, polishing, fluoride application, diamine silver fluoride application, cleaning, and identification of dental prostheses;
• Training and supporting healthcare staff;
• Collaborating with the team to maintain buccal dental health;
• Providing recommendations to improve the buccal dental health of residents;
• Managing inventory and orders.
• Essential qualifications (Health and Social Services requirements):
• Hold a college diploma (DEC) in dental hygiene techniques from a recognized school;
• Be a member of the Professional Order of Dental Hygienists of Quebec;
• Valid driver's license and vehicle required (travels within the Greater Saint-Hyacinthe territory as part of duties).
