Become a youth rehabilitation educator for the protection of youth in Saint-Hyacinthe. A facility of Health Québec Montérégie-Est.
As an educator within the protection of youth, you will be called upon to support a clientele aged 0 to 17, boys or girls, in difficulty and having faced various traumas, including neglect, sexual exploitation, or violence, and having varied issues such as behavioral disorders and mental health problems. These young people come from diverse communities (cultural, ethnic, LGBTQ2SIA+, etc.). Therefore, a job as a youth rehabilitation educator promises a touching, challenging, and highly rewarding experience.
Employment opportunity at part-time and possibility of working full-time in alternating day-night shifts and 1 weekend every 2 weeks.

- Here's what you can expect in addition, if you are a Full-Time Educator:
- Welcome and integrate users into the living unit
- Assess users' needs and explore the actions and means necessary for their rehabilitation
- Support and guide the user, their family, and partners in the various spheres of activity
- Ensure periodic evaluation of the intervention plan and the user's involvement
- Work with the network's intervenors and those of our organization
- Design and update individual intervention plans
- Essential qualifications (requirements in Health and Social Services)
- College diploma (DEC) with specialization in specialized education techniques or intervention in delinquency/criminology or childhood education or college certificate in specialized education (AEC)
- Have completed the second year of college studies with specialization in specialized education techniques or intervention in delinquency/criminology
- Hold a valid driver's license (Class 5)
- Minimum age required: 18 years
