  • Immediate Need:

We currently have a need for specialized educators for the mental health sector, either part-time or full-time. The person must be available for two shifts, day and evening, and one weekend every two weeks.

If you wish to work part-time, you must offer a minimum of 6 days in two weeks, including one weekend.

Title:

The Educator, immediately, ensures the education and re-education of users in an institutional or external environment according to the intervention programs established in collaboration with the team of professionals in place, in order to facilitate the individual's rehabilitation and/or reintegration into society. She applies educational techniques using daily living activities, organizes, coordinates and animates the activities planned in the program, to ensure learning and the acquisition of adequate attitudes and behaviors.

She observes and analyzes the behavior of users, participates in the evaluation of their needs and abilities, and notes their progress by writing the appropriate documents. She provides the programming of her activities.

Requirements

  • ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must hold a college diploma (DEC) in Specialized Education Techniques or in Criminal Intervention Techniques (formerly Criminal Intervention Techniques) from a recognized school;
  • Or hold a Bachelor's degree in psychoeducation, a Bachelor's degree in criminology, an AEC in specialized education of 1800 hours or more, or a RAC in specialized education from an accepted program.
  • AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Offer full-time availability for one weekend every two weeks, and on two shifts, DAY and EVENING;

The appointed positions aim to fill the needs generated by temporarily vacant positions, vacant positions, and temporary overtime work within the department of their geographical territory. Unless otherwise stated, appointed positions are mandatory, so you must be minimally available 3 days/week (including one weekend every two weeks). The minimum number of hours represents 21 hours/week (possibility of less for students only).
