As an Associate Advisor, you contribute to the support, prospecting, solicitation, development, and maintenance of business relationships with members and clients. You participate in the sale of securities products and services through various distribution channels that meet the needs of members and clients according to established strategies and practices (including discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and structured products). You actively contribute to the development and maintenance of business relationships with a loyal client base in your area of expertise. You analyze and handle complex client inquiries or promote and sell products and services according to the business strategies and objectives of your unit, while leveraging your ability to achieve results. You ensure consistency between sales objectives, sound and prudent risk management, profitability, and client satisfaction. You interact with a client base that represents potential development for your sector. You analyze the needs of members and clients and participate in the development and implementation of tailored solutions and present integrated service offerings. You provide advisory and support roles to current or potential members and clients. You represent the company in agreements with clients and have opportunities to establish and negotiate terms related to products and services, in accordance with applicable standards and procedures. Mastery of interpersonal relationships becomes an essential skill. Specifically, you will be required to:
- Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current or potential needs and fostering client retention.
- Advise members and clients on the best solutions or strategies and agree on the desired results.
- Analyze and respond to complex client needs, process requests, and ensure the required follow-ups.
- Gather, compile, and analyze information, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
- Act as a portfolio manager. Assess service satisfaction and quality, ensure follow-ups, and implement required improvements.
- Monitor the market to stay aware of opportunities, trends, and best practices in your field of activity.

What you bring to the table
- College diploma (DEC technical) in an appropriate discipline
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Registration with the OCRI as a Registered Representative
- French language proficiency required
