As a Claims Agent, you are much more than an advisor: you are a trusted partner who supports members and clients in protecting their belongings and their peace of mind. Through your listening, expertise, and advisory approach, you understand their reality, identify their needs, and offer tailored insurance solutions at every stage of their lives. Whether it's buying a first car, acquiring a house, or any other important project, you contribute to securing what matters to them. Each interaction is an opportunity to build a lasting relationship based on trust, while offering a simple, human, and personalized experience. The role of an agent is carried out in a call center environment. Therefore, most of your workday will be dedicated to answering incoming calls from members and clients throughout your shift. At Desjardins, we do things differently. Our agents are guided by member-client experience objectives, the quality of advice, and overall satisfaction, rather than the pressure to sell. We believe that by placing the human at the center of our actions, we offer a truly distinctive experience. More specifically, you will be tasked with:
- Understanding the needs of members and clients and advising them on appropriate protections
- Preparing submissions and issuing insurance contracts
- Performing necessary follow-ups and updating files
- Responding to information requests and making changes to contracts
- Contributing to customer experience and member loyalty
- Developing partnerships that foster referrals and business growth
