Description

The Dealer Network Manager is responsible for collaborating with Head Office and Business Centre Management on matters related to network planning, infrastructure, retail facilities, and property management. This role leads the development and execution of strategies to ensure effective dealer representation within key retail markets. Responsibilities also include the initial evaluation and vetting of dealer applications, as well as conducting interviews with prospective dealer candidates.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of dealer financial statements and financial governance requirements, along with the ability to communicate and discuss financial performance and compliance effectively with stakeholders in a collaborative, two-way manner.

Reporting directly into the National Dealer Network Manager, and indirectly to the Business Centre Director, The Dealer Network Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively work with the dealer operators to develop their business and customer experience processes
  • Actively lead dealer network upgrade activities including the development of Dealer Market Review Proposal packages, Dealer Agreement packages, relocations, renewals and buy/sells, succession planning, and terminations
  • Implement new franchise agreements and ensure all required documents are complete and accurate
  • Manage the CI requirements for all brands as it pertains to dealers seeking to complete renovations or new builds and liaise with the Facility and Dealer Identity Departments
  • Follow-up with dealers to ensure compliance with EV Readiness requirements and tracking of results
  • Support the Business Center field teams with frequent network-related inquiries
  • Present and counsel dealers on performance metrics such as profitability, sales, and customer experience metrics

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 per year

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or work experience
  • HSD/GED AND minimum FIVE (5) years of applicable experience
  • Minimum FIVE (5) years of applicable experience in relevant organizational experience
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English
  • Ability to forge relationships with internal and external teams and dealers. Cultivating a strong relationship with the dealer boards is crucial
  • Proven record of accomplishments and leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through, with demonstrated ability to coordinate the efforts of multiple parties
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, and to gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Strong interpersonal skills in leading cross-functional resources, resolving conflicts, fostering alignment, and gaining commitment
  • Understanding of and ability to interpret various legal documents accurately
  • Experience with financial statements and analysis
  • Experience working directly with dealers
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Willingness to travel 25%
