Customer Advisor

What is the job about?

As an RBC ambassador in the branch, you will put the client first and find solutions tailored to their needs. You will promote the RBC brand and support customer acquisition and deepen relationships with existing clients. What will your tasks be?

• Provide clients in the branch with an exceptional service experience by handling their transactions and identifying opportunities to offer advice and solutions, encourage the adoption of digital technologies, and introduce them to partners.
• Leveraging information and demonstration, take advantage of technology to provide a memorable customer experience, drive sales, and retain customers.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional advice, present clients with the capabilities of RBC partners, or personally finalize customer solutions.
• Prevent problems clients may experience with banking services and resolve those that occur.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with partners to work as a single RBC team.
• Manage risks by following established procedures, processes, and controls for compliance to protect the interests of clients and shareholders during the execution of operations.
• What do you need to succeed?

Requirements

• A genuine concern for putting the client first and the ability to succeed in a solution-driven environment to achieve goals.
• Determination and personal motivation, excellent communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
• Knowledge of a wide range of digital devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
• Availability to work on a variable schedule.
• A desire to learn and determination to succeed.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve a Francophone and Anglophone clientele.

Assets

• Strong background in establishing and maintaining customer relationships in the finance, services, or retail sectors.
• Securities licensing or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
