Description

Are you an organized and methodical person? Can you maintain your focus and rigor over extended periods? We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, is flexible, honest, and trustworthy. Teamwork, mutual support, and a sense of cooperation are essential skills to develop, especially during intense work periods.

Under the supervision of a pharmacist, your primary function will be to assist them, following established aseptic techniques and protocols, in the preparation and packaging of medications requiring complex pharmaceutical calculations and specialized techniques. You will be able to execute an order according to the established procedures. You may also delegate the verification containing-content (DVCC) and perform other tasks related to the concepts covered during your training.

Requirements

Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Technical Assistance in Pharmacy or have equivalent skills.

  • To facilitate the processing of your application, please attach to your application package the document demonstrating compliance with this requirement or ensure that you have it available since you will need to provide it at the first contact with our recruitment team.

In addition to the selection interview, to become a senior technical assistant, the person will be subject to a theoretical and practical skills test to verify their knowledge.

Additional Information

  • Be available to work a minimum of 2 days per week,
  • Be available to work 1 weekend out of 2.
  • Citizenship: It is mandatory to hold Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a work permit issued by the federal authority to hold this position.
