The job location is at 180, Clyde Road. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
The work involves controlling activities related to the operation of a store. The job tasks usually require the employee to decide on the order of execution and the daily progress of activities. The work is occasionally monitored during its execution and regularly checked.
This is a replacement position for a minimum of 18 months.
EXAMPLES OF TASKS PERFORMED
- Supplies staff according to material requests.
- Ensures the delivery of goods; checks the consistency between ordered and delivered materials and fills out and signs various forms such as delivery receipts, requisitions, etc., using the automated goods management system.
- Oversees the reception, unpacking, and storage of supplies in designated areas; ensures the consistency between issued orders and delivered items. Any order modification is the responsibility of the buyer.
- Ensures that fuel and diesel tanks are functioning properly and records the total quantities distributed for each vehicle; compiles various data and produces a monthly report on this activity sector.
- Participates in the annual inventory activities of the store in collaboration with the Treasury and Material Resources Service and regularly checks the inventory to avoid material accumulation or shortages.
- Writes a daily report on activities related to the Treasury and Material Resources Service.
- Controls access to the store for staff and suppliers.
Performs any other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in the field of motorized equipment maintenance and have completed 3 to 9 credits in the supply domain.
- Possess at least two (2) years of experience in a similar job, allowing the candidate to familiarize themselves with the job domain.
- REQUIRED QUALITIES
Good Knowledge Of
- Mastery of French and English (written and spoken).
*The knowledge of English is a requirement due to possible interactions with the City's citizens.
Skills or Abilities
- Have a very developed sense of customer service;
- Manifest ease in interpersonal relations;
- Demonstrate initiative and autonomy;
- Be able to elaborate and exercise certain controls and follow-ups.
