Prep Cook

Part-time | 20 to 30 hours per week

Do you enjoy cooking, working with fresh products, and being part of a dynamic team? At Spedzira, we are looking for an organized, fast, and proud-of-their-work person to prepare the ingredients that go into our sandwiches, salads, and homemade products.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the kitchen but doesn't necessarily have to be on the service line all day.

• Your main responsibilities
• Prepare vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other ingredients.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses.
• Prepare homemade sauces according to recipes.
• Portion and package products.
• Follow recipes and quality standards.
• Perform food rotation (FIFO).
• Check expiration dates and freshness of products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Do the dishes and participate in kitchen cleaning.
• Receive and store orders when necessary.
• Assist the kitchen team during busier periods.
