To continue its mission, the Legal Affairs Service of the City of Sherbrooke is looking for a lawyer or lawyer in labour law. The person sought will be able to support and advise those who represent the City in the orientations to be taken in the various files that occupy them, while embodying its values of collaboration, respect, integrity, agility and accountability. PROPOSED CHALLENGES Within the litigation team, you will draft judicial procedures, prepare hearing files and plead before administrative and common law courts, mainly in labour law. You will work closely with the Human Resources Service on all matters relating to health and safety at work and labour relations. You will study and draft procedures and, if necessary, recommend and negotiate amicable regulations. Finally, you will act as a legal advisor to municipal services, districts and paramunicipal corporations. OUR OFFER More than interesting conditions are offered to you:

- Reimbursement of your professional order fees. PROFILE REQUIRED You hold a bachelor's degree in law and are a member of the Barreau du Québec. You have at least two (2) years of experience as a lawyer or lawyer in the employment field. You are recognized for your professional expertise in litigious matters as well as for your ability to prepare your files and plead before the courts. You are recognized for your ease of working in a multidisciplinary team, your professional rigor, your skills in advising, communicating and solving legal problems.
