Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The responsibilities associated with the assignment may include, but are not limited to, the following activities: . Contribute to the analysis, research, and formulation of recommendations within projects related to the development of geomatics applications; . Collaborate with pilots and users to understand, document, and analyze their functional requirements; . Develop, plan, and execute functional tests to confirm the proper functioning of solutions and developments; Ensure the reliability, consistency, integrity, and currency of geospatial data; . Implement automation mechanisms for data processing using ETL tools such as FME Flow, FME Form, Python, or ModelBuilder; . Deploy and maintain geomatics web services, including data and geoprocessing services; . Provide technical support and act as a geomatics resource for various administrative units.

What we are looking for

. Hold a bachelor's degree in geomatics, geography, civil engineering, computer science, information technology, software engineering, or any other relevant discipline; . Possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a geomatics analyst, acquired in a context of development, evolution, or maintenance of geomatics solutions; . Master ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Desktop, including ArcMap; . Utilize geospatial web services and REST APIs; . Work with ETL tools such as FME Flow or FME Form, as well as create or use automation scripts with Python or ArcPy; . Manipulate various geospatial data formats, including FGDB, EGDB, Shapefile, and GeoJSON; . Have experience with Azure DevOps, particularly for using Scrum or Kanban boards, as well as for planning, managing, and tracking work activities.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particularities of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $60,000 and $120,000. This position is open.
