IT Architecture Advisor

Micrologic is seeking experienced professionals in the field of information technology to participate in major projects within complex environments.

Location: Work Mode: Hybrid

The advisors will: analyze, design, recommend, and ensure the integration of technological solutions in accordance with the clients' guidelines. The work covers the activities of design, architecture, integration, and technological analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and recommend technological solutions.
• Design architectures and infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct feasibility, impact, and risk analyses.
• Produce architecture, design, and required deliverables.
• Conduct proof of concept (POC).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for the integration and deployment of solutions.
• Accompany projects during implementation.
• Provide expertise-advice in architecture, integration, and technological infrastructures.
• Ensure documentation and tracking of work.
• Contribute to the evolution of architectures, infrastructures, and technological roadmaps.
• Required Expertise
• Candidates must have relevant experience in several of the following areas:
• Solution and technological architecture
• Integration of technological solutions
• Windows, Linux, Unix, and x86 infrastructures
• Networks, telecommunications, and connectivity
• SAN storage
• Identity and access management
• Web architecture and digital services
• Cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and private cloud)
• Cloud-based collaborative tools
• Infrastructure capacity planning
• Preparation of architecture documents and proof of concept (POC)

Required Experience

• Participation in major projects of more than 1,500 to 2,000 person-days.
• Significant contribution as a designer, architect, or integration advisor.
• Implementation of mandates involving the integration of systems, technologies, and work processes in complex environments.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: computer science, information technology; pure or applied sciences, or engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in information technology.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in solutions, technological architecture, or technological integration.
• Participation in major projects carried out in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada.
• Experience in multi-platform and multidisciplinary contexts.
• Ability to design, integrate, and evolve complex technological solutions.
