About Anasens
Anasens is a Montreal-based medical technology company that is developing an innovative platform for the quantitative detection of drugs from biological matrices (saliva, blood). Our technology combines next-generation biosensors, microfluidics, electronics and data analytics to deliver fast, accurate results directly at the point of care.
Our multidisciplinary team collaborates with industrial, academic and international partners to bring this technology to commercialization.
As part of our growth, we are looking for a senior project manager who can effectively coordinate all of our development activities.
Your Role
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of several technical projects simultaneously. You will act as a central point between the scientific teams, engineers, external partners, suppliers and management to ensure the achievement of quality, cost and schedule objectives.
You will also help establish robust project management practices that will support the company's future growth.
Key Responsibilities *Project Management*
- Plan, organize and coordinate several technical projects in parallel;
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and performance indicators;
- Identify dependencies, risks and implement mitigation plans;
- Follow up on critical deliverables and milestones;
- Ensure the preparation of reports in the context of funding via grants;
- Report project status to higher management (e.g. prepare dashboards for management).
- *Multidisciplinary Coordination*
- Coordinate the work of R\&D, engineering teams and external partners;
- Facilitate and manage day-to-day communications between different stakeholders
- Facilitate project governance through regular planning, review, and decision-making meetings
- Organize and facilitate follow-up meetings;
- Ensure the flow of information and the follow-up of decisions.
- *External Partner Management*
- Coordinate activities carried out by suppliers, consultants and academic partners;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for various partners and stakeholders;
- Follow up on contracts, deliverables and schedules;
- Participate in technical discussions with external partners.
- *Process Improvement*
- Develop and implement project management tools adapted to a growing company;
- Standardize planning, documentation and monitoring methods;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes.
- Desired Profile
- *Education*
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (asset).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired.
- Lean Six Sigma (asset).
- *Experience*
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in technology product development.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience with product scale-up or taking a prototype from development through commercialization an asset.
- Experience coordinating with partners or teams in different countries an asset.
- Experience in medical technology, medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology or pharmaceuticals is a strong asset.
- *Skills in Demand*
- Excellent planning and organizational skills (Agile).
- Proficiency with one of the classic project management tools:
- Suite Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
- Smartsheet
- MS Project
- Or other comparable tools
- Collaborative leadership.
- Ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are required.
- Organized and capacity to create structure in a growing environment.
- Analytical and results-oriented.
- Ability to mobilize teams without necessarily having a direct hierarchical link.
- *Technical Knowledge*
- One or more of the following is an asset:
- Document management
- ISO 13485
- International Supplier Management
- Product Development
- Risk Management
- Development of medical devices or in vitro diagnostics (IVD)
- Knowledge of working with biological matrices
- Knowledge of microfluidics
- Knowledge of electronic development
