Purchasing Agent, Buyer - FR/EN/SPANISH

Here are the responsibilities of the position

• Ensure the acquisition of the required parts and materials
• Ensure that the parts are obtained within the required deadlines
• Communicate to peers the availability dates of the required parts to advance the work
• Negotiate prices and agreements with suppliers according to the company's policy
• Continuously interact with production employees, as well as directors and suppliers
• Ensure that inventory management is continuous
• Ensure that the inventory is up to date
• Update the safety data sheet manual with the purchased products
• Ensure that the compliance of the products with our work methods (SST) is validated
• Complete documents related to transportation, as well as any other related task. Have you always been the type to manage your projects and those of others well, do you like to be in contact with others and solve challenges with initiative and resourcefulness? Do you also like to be in the heat of the action and are very organized?

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of the following languages: French, English (Clients in the United States) and Spanish (clients in Mexico)
• Sense of organization
• Excellent understanding of instructions
• Excellent professional communication skills with peers
• Excellent skills in using computer tools (ERP, Microsoft, etc.)
