Warehouse Supervisor (Team Lead)

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

In constant expansion and with the opening of our new Distribution center located in Kirkland, our team is looking for a person to occupy the position of Warehouse Supervisor (Team Lead). Our team is looking for a person to occupy the following position:

CONCRETE OVERVIEW OF YOUR ROLE ON A DAILY BASIS

• Supervise and manage a receiving goods team;
• Prepare the necessary documentation for the preparation of arrival files (WMS – Odatio);
• Ensure the proper functioning and optimization of department operations;
• Verify that the merchandise matches the purchase order and shipping notice;
• Intervene to resolve inventory discrepancy issues;
• Establish priorities, coordinate daily activities of department employees;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards;
• Collaborate on action plans issued by the admin manager and warehouse manager and issue recommendations focused on continuous improvement to optimize logistics processes.
• Manage and monitor performance indicators (KPI) and issue corrective action plans if necessary;

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a similar context to the present offer;
• DEC in Industrial Engineering or Logistics;
• A combination of relevant experience and/or training will be considered;
• Good knowledge of logistics tools and processes (WMS, inventory management, etc.);
• Ability to work in a rapidly evolving computer environment;
• Good written and spoken French / English;
