Logistics Leader

The Logistics Leader – Receiving Goods is responsible for the daily management of receiving activities. He supervises the team, ensures the conformity of received products, complies with internal procedures, and coordinates effectively with suppliers, transportation, and internal departments. He plays a key role in the performance of logistics flows, inventory reliability, and meeting deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving activities, prioritizing health and safety, quality, deadlines, and costs.
• Plan, organize, and evaluate the work of the receiving team.
• Approve working hours and track leaves, absences, and vacations.
• Train new employees and evaluate probation periods.
• Implement and maintain raw material inspection systems to reduce non-conformities.
• Manage raw material inventory and coordinate inter-plant supply.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and participate in process optimization.
• Resolve operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct workplace accident investigations and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and motivating work environment.
• Ensure effective communication with internal and external clients.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing and/or logistics environment, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the doors and windows industry (asset).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Bilingual French/English (functional).
