To support its growth and succession planning, Smurfit Westrock Sainte-Marie is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor (5x8hrs) who wishes to work for a strong company that prioritizes the health and safety of its employees and offers multiple advancement opportunities.

*Reporting to the Production Director, the* *Night Shift Production Supervisor (5x8hrs)* *supervises and coordinates production across all departments of the plant based on the production schedule. In addition to ensuring deadlines are met, they manage human and material resources under their supervision to achieve optimal performance. They are also responsible for meeting health and safety, quality, environmental, and productivity objectives. More specifically, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for:*

• Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the work of employees under their supervision in collaboration with the supervision team;
• Ensuring proper management of human and material resources;
• Promoting and enforcing health and safety in the workplace;
• Analyzing production schedules for all departments and suggesting changes, if necessary, to the logistics department;
• Approving new products for printing, cutting, and finishing according to customer requirements;
• Ensuring compliance with ISO, SQF, and C-TPAT standards;
• Ensuring compliance with customer requirements;
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations;
• Conducting floor tours;
• Routing internal quality complaints or production errors to the appropriate parties;
• Evaluating probationary and training employees;
• Participating in weekly communication meetings;
• Organizing and leading production meetings with employees;
• Preparing production reports;
• Ensuring compliance with the collective agreement.
