To support our growth, we are looking for a Mold Fabrication Technician to join our team.

Your role

You will participate in the assembly, adjustment, finishing, and maintenance of molds used in the production of our products. You will work in collaboration with our machining team to ensure high-quality molds that meet our standards.

Your main responsibilities

• Assemble mold components from machined parts.
• Adjust, mount, and finish molds.
• Deburr, polish, and adjust parts to ensure compliance.
• Prepare cutting matrices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of production molds.
• Collaborate with the machining team to ensure mold quality.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

The desired profile

• Good manual and mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail, precision, and quality consciousness.
• Good use of hand tools and workshop equipment (sawbench, drill press, milling machine, etc.).
• Good mastery of measuring tape and reading measurements in inches.
• Team spirit, autonomy, and organizational sense.
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, tooling, or mold fabrication (an asset).

Never fabricated molds before? If you have good mechanical aptitude, are manual, and want to learn a new trade, we offer training to the right person.
