Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, you plan and execute grain movements between different sites within the organization and external sites. In a dynamic environment heavily influenced by railway and operational realities, you contribute to ensuring the smooth flow of goods, optimizing operations, and meeting business priorities. You will play a key role in coordinating field activities and managing unforeseen events.
Here’s an overview of your day
- Plan grain movements (wagons, trucks, inter-site transfers)
- Ensure site supply according to operational needs
- Apply established priorities (needs, contracts, costs, capacity)
- Adjust planning in real-time according to unforeseen events
- Track wagons daily (arrivals, unloadings, priorities)
- Coordinate unloadings with the grain center team
- Contribute to tracking railway issues (delays, deadlines, etc.)
- Participate in freight cost control (overage)
- Track internal and external stock movements
- Monitor inventories and storage capacities
- Plan grain entries
- Maintain effective communication with partners
Your profile
- DEC in a relevant field (logistics, procurement, administration, or equivalent)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in a logistics or industrial environment (asset)
- Knowledge of SAP or an ERP (asset)

- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders

- Comfort with computer tools (Excel, ERP)
Working conditions
- Daytime schedule of 40 hours from Monday to Friday
- Possibility of remote work (subject to current policies)
