Description

The SAP GTS Business Partner is responsible for leading the deployment and evolution of integrated solutions within the Global Trade Services (GTS) group and other business units, and plays a key role by acting as the single point of contact between end-users and the Center of Excellence.

The SAP GTS Business Partner continuously analyzes the impact of changes on GTS systems and operations, and leads the necessary actions to adapt and optimize operational processes to promote improvements and ensure their sustainability.

The SAP GTS Business Partner directs the development of operational requirements and provides end-users with appropriate communications and training materials related to changes. The SAP GTS Business Partner has in-depth experience and knowledge of customs activities (classification, country of origin, solicitation, free trade agreements, import and export processes), and works in collaboration with the Center of Excellence to implement best practices in the business unit.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for GTS end-users and the SAP Business Partner community.

Ensure that the GTS team remains competent in the face of changes by providing continuous learning on new features and processes.

Design, improve, and maintain training materials and exercises; provide training and mentoring to GTS end-users.

Facilitate communication with other SAP Business Partners to integrate GTS requirements into other business units.

Document GTS knowledge in the knowledge library to ensure the sustainability of knowledge and facilitate the integration of new employees.

Integrate new GTS employees in the business unit into processes and systems.

Request, validate, and maintain the security access list for end-users in the GTS business unit.

Define security roles in SAP.

Evaluate the impact of change on individuals and prepare, clarify, and communicate changes related to operational processes, systems, professional roles, and organizational structures.

Participate in the Center of Excellence to provide ongoing and up-to-date support (for processes, documentation updates, new employee training/organization of new training deployments, deficiency resolution priority management, improvement process planning, and backup solutions);

Implement best practices within the GTS business unit to gain efficiency, increase value, and optimize streamlined processes by: participating in community calls and/or leadership governance.

Establish strategic plans to support strategic development goals within the GTS business unit and ensure progress towards these goals.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Professional Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or business administration with an orientation towards navigating systems (ERP); a master's degree is an asset.

1 to 3 years of experience in the business-related discipline.

Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and project management is an asset.

A strong interest and curiosity for technological solutions, as well as knowledge of SAP/S4/HANA and SAP GTS, are essential.

Familiarity with project management approaches and tools, as well as the project lifecycle;

Proficiency in Microsoft and Google environments.
