Mechanical Projects Manager

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising various projects related to production equipment, including maintenance, SST, costs, and schedules.

Work Schedule & Environment

• Full-time, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (summer hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM);
• Must be available outside regular working hours for overtime;
• Work in an office, but frequently travel to the factory;
• Regular contact with production employees and supervisors.

What Will Your Days Be Like?

• Design, manufacture, and implement equipment for the production of new products (R&D or external client) or replacement projects;
• Manage all projects by controlling costs, risks, and schedules;
• Consult project-related stakeholders to submit a detailed project proposal (work method, costs, and deadlines) and write a risk analysis;
• Conduct productivity and energy-saving projects;
• Develop the preventive maintenance program for new equipment;
• Train maintenance personnel and production supervisors on new equipment;
• Lead major machine refurbishment projects;
• Design and install safety devices on new and modified equipment during projects;
• Assess SST risks when submitting a project proposal.
• Job Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automated Production Engineering;
• Strong communication and presentation skills;
• Synthesis mindset, results-oriented, safety-conscious (SST);
• Knowledge of computer tools (Solidwork, Excel, Interal, MS Office, Lotus).

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in the field.
