WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Plan and ensure the realization of projects
• Perform start-up, drawing, and maintenance of the folder-gluer
• Communicate with operators from other production steps before or after finishing-binding according to project specifics
• Be able to ensure optimal quality level
• Plan maintenance work and perform regular machine maintenance
• Read the file and understand the work to be done. Check if there are customer or supplier specifications
• Perform the project in compliance with health and safety at work rules
• Perform preparation for shipping
• Verbally or in writing, transmit the necessary technical data for the continuation of work (shift change or different departments)
• All other tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor

• DES completed
• Ability to read and write
• French and English (functional)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an operator in printing
• Experience with a folder-gluer machine (important asset)
• Know the properties and recognize the different categories of paper in order to understand how these properties affect the work
• Very good knowledge of mechanics
• Understand the nature and importance of the data contained in the production file in order to translate it into a work plan
• ProXpert ERP software (an asset)
