Working in the hospitality and restaurant industry for nearly 50 years, Gray Collection is a prestigious group of locally authentic hotels and restaurants that offer travelers from around the world the experience of convivial luxury. Under the Talent Manager, the Intern will actively contribute to talent acquisition activities primarily during the peak season while participating in continuous improvement and cross-functional HR initiatives, including health and safety at work.

***This internship, offered for the fall period, is for a person currently affiliated with an educational institution and is part of a recognized school program.

Responsibilities

  • Support the talent acquisition team in all stages of recruitment — from posting job offers to onboarding new employees — by effectively using the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Analyze resumes and cover letters, conduct telephone pre-screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications.
  • Organize interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive experience for candidates.
  • Ensure rigorous management of applications and update candidate information in the ATS.
  • Participate in improving our recruitment processes by updating job descriptions.
  • Contribute to building a talent pool to support growth.
  • Contribute to updating documents, communications, or tools related to employee health, safety, and well-being.
  • Provide administrative support during workplace prevention or awareness initiatives.
  • Support the HR team in tactical improvements to the Dayforce recruitment module.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Current or upcoming graduate in Human Resources, Hospitality, Restaurant, or related field;
  • Internship experience in recruitment and/or human resources, an asset;
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative;
  • Strong organizational, adaptability, and prioritization skills;
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Experience with an ATS, an asset (e.g., Dayforce);
  • High level of oral and written communication skills in French and English;
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality, an asset;
