Job Overview

As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals in ressource. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of patient treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient behaviors and interactions
• Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily activities and personal hygiene
• Support patients in developing coping strategies and skills for managing mental health challenges
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the safety and well-being of patients

Requirements

• Experience working in mental health setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities when supporting patients in their treatment goals
• bilingual abilities are a plus
• Basic computer operation skills for utilizing electronic medical records
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain professionalism at all times
