Note: The ideal candidate should live in the community in question. Applications from individuals who do not live in the community of the post office may be considered as needed.

Sell postal products and services to businesses and the public;

Sort, distribute, and properly handle mail;

Provide clients with information and forms;

Address delivery and service issues to quickly and completely resolve problems.

Admissibility Criteria

High school diploma or equivalent provincial, or experience in business administration

Training and/or experience in interacting with the public in retail sales and/or the service industry, among others, sales and cash transactions

Understanding of ordinary accounting systems or post offices

Sufficient physical fitness to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for long periods

Flexibility to be available for temporary tasks on call
