Conduct analytical studies of drill cores, drill cuttings, and rock samples to identify their components

Conduct theoretical and applied research to improve knowledge of the earth's surface and subsurface characteristics

Plan analytical studies of core samples to identify chemical, mineral, hydrocarbon, and biological composition

Plan, direct, and participate in the analysis of data collected during geological, geochemical, and geophysical surveys, the results of diagraphies and other tests, maps, notes, and cross-sections

Plan, direct, and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical campaigns and geological drilling and testing programs

Use global positioning system (GPS) and other navigation equipment
