As a global leader, indie's photonics team designs cutting-edge optical systems that contribute to the advancement of many sectors: material processing, quantum technologies, LiDAR, navigation, detection, imaging, augmented reality, and medical applications.
At indie (TeraXion) in Quebec, we are looking for an Administrative Technician – Accounting and Payroll to join the Finance Team and play a key role in daily financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Supported by an external payroll management service: produce, analyze, and follow up on payroll processing and all related elements, for employees in Quebec and Toronto;
- Produce and analyze accounts receivable and all related elements (account opening, invoicing, collections, EDC management);
- Prepare payment batches to suppliers for the different entities within the indie group;
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes;
- Participate in various audit processes;
- Participate in the calculation of claims for subsidies;
- Prepare various statistical reports.
Desired Profile
- DEC or AEC in accounting or administrative techniques – accounting option;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and proficiency in Excel;
- Advanced English level to ensure adequate communication with anglophone colleagues (colleagues, clients, suppliers);
- Knowledge of EmployerD and NetSuite (asset);
- Sense of organization, diligence, collaborative spirit, autonomy.
