As a security guard or officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order, according to the established policies, to ensure the protection of all properties and assets of the establishment.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

• Welcome, monitor, and ensure the protection of visitors, users, and staff of the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent establishments,
• Report anomalies to responsible persons,
• Intervene in emergency situations within the scope of your functions,
• Participate in the orientation and initiation of new staff,
• Participate in the code blanc according to the established procedure.

Requirements

• Hold a high school diploma (DES),
• Hold a license issued by the Quebec Bureau of Private Security (BSP).
• To facilitate the processing of your application, please attach to your application package the documents demonstrating compliance with these requirements or ensure you have them available since you will need to provide them at the first contact with our recruitment team.

In the course of their functions, the selected person will be called upon to make trips in the MRCs of Matane, Matapédia, and Mitis.

Additional Information

• Be available to work a minimum of 2 days per week,
• Be available to work 2 shifts out of 3 (day/evening/night), with the night shift being mandatory for the first two years. To improve your work schedule, it is recommended to also be available to work the evening shift,
• Be available to work 1 weekend out of 2.
• Citizenship: It is mandatory to hold Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a work permit issued by the federal authority to occupy this position.
