Production Supervisor (Weekend)

Under the supervision of the production director, the supervisor ensures that employees under their responsibility produce safely and efficiently according to established quality standards, while respecting standard costs and delivery deadlines.

SCHEDULE

• Full-time, 24 hours per week, from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM on Friday to Sunday.
• Weekend shift, must be available for overtime as needed.
• SALARY

What Will Your Days Be Like?

• Ensure the application of the collective agreement and SST regulations while contributing to maintaining good working relationships.
• Act as the main supporter of the safety process to support the company's SST culture.
• Monitor health and safety and productivity indicators.
• Supervise a team of approximately 20 employees, distributed across three different departments.
• Monitor performance and quality indicators.
• Validate the time cards of employees under your supervision.
• Plan and organize production to meet delivery deadlines, quality standards, and productivity goals, providing technical support to employees.
• Manage unexpected replacements.
• Ensure effective management of absenteeism and discipline.
• Lead weekly and daily meetings at the dashboard with employees.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects using tools such as Kaizen, SMED, and 5S.

What Are the Job Requirements?

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
• Demonstrate rigor, organization, autonomy, and resourcefulness.
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully to be recognized as a mobilizer within the work team.
• Hold a college diploma in industrial management, industrial engineering, or administration (an asset).
• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in supervision, in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Have experience using Kaizen, 5S, and SMED (important asset).
