What you can expect
As a Project Management Engineer, your role will consist of planning, coordinating, and supervising the implementation of municipal projects in your field of activity. You will act as an expert advisor and project manager, ensuring the achievement of quality, cost, and schedule objectives, while promoting innovation, sustainability, and safety. You will maintain your knowledge up-to-date to meet the legal and ethical obligations related to your profession and intervene, if necessary, in the collection, analysis, and formulation of recommendations in litigious situations with partners. More specifically, you will contribute to the fluidity of traffic and road safety on the City of Lévis' network, within a perspective of sustainable mobility, particularly by planning projects, applying standards and regulations in signage, as well as by conducting analyses, studies, and designing road improvements.

Main responsibilities
- Plan and organize all stages of projects (studies, design, construction, commissioning) while ensuring the coordination of resources and multidisciplinary teams for effective execution in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop, manage, and optimize budgets and schedules to ensure compliance with resources and deadlines.
- Prepare and supervise tender calls, ensuring transparency and quality in the selection process of suppliers and contractors.
- Ensure project compliance with technical, regulatory, and contractual standards, integrating best practices in the sector.
- Control the quality and follow-up of on-site work, anticipating issues and proposing adapted solutions.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to projects to ensure their success and the safety of operations.
- Desired profile*
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Four (4) years of relevant experience in the role
- Expertise in transportation, mobility, urban planning, and land use will be considered an asset
