- Your main responsibilities
- As a dining room attendant, you will contribute to:
- Preparing food minimally 45 minutes before the lunch buffet opens
- Cooking the food
- Setting up the complete buffet according to IHG standards, including hot, cold, beverage, and condiment items;
- Checking the freshness, quality, and quantity of food (based on occupancy);
- Restocking the buffet proactively throughout the service;
- Greeting all guests with courtesy and professionalism, without personal distractions;
- Providing assistance and information regarding the buffet and hotel services;
- Maintaining order, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen and dining room at all times;
- Working autonomously while ensuring rigor in task execution;
- Adapting your work pace according to foot traffic and remaining proactive at all times;
- Ensuring access control for breakfast (see breakfast inclusion guidelines for Candlewood Suites guests);
- Safely handling food products and kitchen equipment;
- Preparing, serving, and clearing food and beverages for meeting rooms upon request, according to contracts (available at the front desk);
- Punctuality and availability to work early in the morning;
- Neat appearance, smiling attitude, and customer service-oriented mindset;
- Any other related tasks
What we are looking for
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role (desired)
- Passion for customer service
- Ability to lift moderate loads (trays, food containers);
- Sense of priorities and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Team spirit and constant professionalism;
