Duties

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cutting, styling, and beard trim
• Provide personalized consultations to clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable hairstyles
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized regularly
• Assist with retail sales by recommending and upselling hair care products to clients
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling to provide clients with modern and innovative hairstyles
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive and welcoming salon environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices in the salon industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency in retail sales techniques for promoting hair care products
• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $16.60-$20.00 per hour
