Brief description of the position:

To meet the needs of its clients in the information technology sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is seeking Senior Scrum Masters who are motivated to contribute to strategic initiatives. The primary responsibilities include coaching Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, fostering continuous improvement, and supporting the delivery of high-value solutions. This includes coordinating team activities, removing impediments, promoting Agile best practices, ensuring effective collaboration among stakeholders, as well as monitoring performance indicators and maintaining thorough documentation of Agile processes and practices.

Main responsibilities: *Without limitation, the main tasks involve:*

• *Being a leader and coach to an Agile team, facilitating events and processes based on the SAFe framework as promoted by the client's Agile Performance Center (CPA);*
• *Supporting teams in creating value;*
• *Assisting in training teams in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Integrated Quality, ensuring that agreed-upon Agile processes at SQI are followed;*
• *Assisting in removing obstacles and fostering an environment conducive to a highly performing, continuous flow, and continuous improvement team dynamic;*
• *Helping the team achieve its delivery goals;*
• *Coaching teams in self-organization and assisting with coordination and participation in Quarterly Planning events.*

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (minimum three-year undergraduate degree) in Information Technology or a related field;
• Or
• College diploma (DEC) in Computer Science Technology or a related technical field, combined with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology (IT) and/or Agile environments.
• Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the field of Information Technology.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Hold a PSM I or PSM II or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.
• Have successfully completed mandates demonstrating the competencies and experience required for the position.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Have accumulated more than six hundred (600) person-days of experience as an Agile Coach and/or Release Train Engineer (RTE) in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
• Hold a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification.
• Hold the SAFe Agilist 6 for Government (SA) certification.
