The Information Security Surveillance Ecosystem Department is currently seeking a Data Engineering/Data Warehouse Consultant for Databricks to join its team of experts in processing large volumes of sensitive and confidential data necessary for Cybersecurity operations. In this role, you will contribute to the setup and maintenance of the security data lake, which serves as the authoritative source for all teams within the Vice-Presidency of Information Security Operations (VPOSI) at Desjardins Movement. Specifically, you will be tasked with:
- Developing scripts and automations to ingest data into a consumption zone and transform and enrich data for the consumption zone.
- Developing API call modules to support governance and data documentation activities.
- Developing automated modules to support data quality control activities and appropriate corrective measures.

What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience with Azure tools (Azure Databricks, FunctionApp, LogicApp, SQL)
- Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Azure Databricks certification or equivalent demonstrated in ETL
- Intermediate or advanced experience in one or more of the following languages: PySpark, Python, Java, or C#
- Intermediate or advanced experience in SQL
- French language proficiency required
- Knowledge of one or more storage tools (Storage Account, SQL Server, Databricks)
