Senior Business Analyst – Accounting and Finance Solutions

The business analyst is responsible for analyzing the context and business needs or processes of the client within medium-complexity cases that may require interventions in one or more business domains. They work with stakeholders, users, and contributors and are responsible for ensuring overall project compliance with business needs and organizational objectives. They identify, design, and recommend business solutions and analyze their impacts on the organization. In the context of projects, they collaborate in defining business objectives, define the scope of solutions, and support the project manager in making important decisions. They are responsible for ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and business needs. They are also responsible for the end-to-end integration of business solutions, from the business needs definition stage to deployment.

The advisor works in close collaboration with a business architect, business experts, project manager, sponsor, solution integration architect, and delivery teams. They are involved in the complete implementation cycle of solutions and must ensure that all stakeholders understand the solution.

The mandate will be more specifically focused on the evolution of business processes and the Oracle accounting software that supports them. We are looking for a very senior business professional in the accounting/finance domain, able to demonstrate leadership and influence. In addition to a minimum of 4 years in a confirmed business analyst role.

Main Responsibilities

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Hold a university degree
• ESSENTIAL a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field of accounting, finance, and financial systems
• ESSENTIAL a minimum of 4 years of experience in a business analyst role
• Knowledge of Oracle financial software (ERP Cloud, EBS, EPM Cloud, Hyperion) is an asset
• Knowledge of the insurance damage industry is an asset
• Accounting title is an asset
