At indie (TeraXion) in Quebec, we are looking for an

Administrative Technician - Accounting and Payroll to join the

Finance team and play a key role in daily financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supported by an external payroll management service: produce, analyze, and follow up on payroll processing and all related elements, for employees in Quebec and Toronto;
  • Produce and analyze accounts receivable and all related elements (account opening, invoicing, collections, EDC management);
  • Prepare payment batches to suppliers for the different entities within the indie group;
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes;
  • Participate in various audit processes;
  • Participate in the calculation of claims for subsidies;
  • Prepare various statistical reports.

Profile

  • DEC or AEC in accounting or administrative technical - accounting option;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and proficiency in Excel;
  • Advanced English level to ensure adequate communication with anglophone colleagues (colleagues, clients, suppliers);
  • Knowledge of EmployerD and NetSuite (asset);
  • Sense of organization, diligence, collaborative spirit, autonomy.
