Salary: $19.21 - $20.21/hour ($20.21/hour after 60 days of actual work)

Hiring Bonus: $1000 paid after 6 months of employment – The hiring bonus eligibility applies only to new employees who have never been employed by the company, its affiliated companies, or its predecessors.

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for the efficient operation of the assigned production equipment.
  • Remove bottles from racks and place them on the conveyor to achieve production and quality goals.
  • Visually inspect bottles and remove any foreign objects. Perform smell tests and eliminate contaminated bottles.
  • Re-label bottles.
  • Sort and handle empty and full bottles from delivery trucks.
  • Ensure the start-up, operation, format changes, shutdown, and preventive maintenance of the assigned production equipment (line equipment, forklifts, or other motorized equipment).
  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, in accordance with the company's health and safety policy.
  • Participate in the general cleaning of the plant, production lines, and facilities according to the 5S principles.

Qualifications

  • Experience in production, preferably in a food or beverage environment.
  • Priority given to safe work practices and quality, with a good sense of urgency in task execution.
  • Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with forklifts (required at certain sites).
  • Availability to work flexible hours and some weekends (required at certain sites).
  • Ability to visually and olfactorily inspect materials.
  • Ability to wear the required PPE (safety shoes, hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular work near moving mechanical parts and, depending on the location, in outdoor conditions that may include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise levels may be high at certain times.

Candidates must possess strong French language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in French is essential to understand customer needs, address requests, and collaborate with team members.
