About the Position

We are looking for an MRB Calculator passionate about aeronautical engineering and technical problem-solving. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, evaluating, and dispositioning structural and manufacturing non-conformities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze non-conformities related to aeronautical parts, assemblies, and structures.
• Develop technical dispositions (MRB) in accordance with design requirements, customer specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Perform structural justification calculations to demonstrate the acceptability of repairs or deviations.
• Develop and validate permanent or temporary repair solutions.
• Assess the impact of deviations on navigability, safety, performance, and the lifespan of structures.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and production engineering teams.
• Participate in technical reviews and support the resolution of complex problems.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure the traceability of analyses performed.
• Comply with regulatory authorities' requirements (TCCA, FAA, EASA) and internal procedures.

Required Profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) or eligible (an asset depending on the position).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aeronautical structural calculations, MRB, or stress engineering.
• Good knowledge of metallic and composite materials.
• Mastery of material resistance and structural analysis.
• Knowledge of aeronautical repair methods and certification requirements.
• Experience with technical drawings, specifications, and aeronautical standards.
• Knowledge of analysis tools (advanced MS Excel, CATIA, ENOVIA, SAP, Nastran, Patran, or equivalent software) is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
