What will you contribute to the team?

  • Lead the team responsible for the customer experience to provide a customized and flawless experience for our aircraft customers, including customer surveys and customer experience in our facilities (i.e., customer space management at LBCC and Challenger).
  • Lead all governance for the customer-facing team, including ODI management, concessions, operational excellence – master plan / BSC, change management.
  • Lead large-scale strategic projects at the executive level across the organization to ensure the long-term success of our aircraft platforms and sales.
  • Work effectively with senior management (VPE, VP) to develop long-term strategies that will strengthen customer relationships and the financial success of deliveries.
  • Develop new opportunities within the organization to improve and ensure the continuity of deliveries to the client; this includes aligning and managing customer requirements with operations, engineering, and quality.
  • Continuously engage with cross-functional areas to improve aircraft quality and standards to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge aircraft to our customers.
  • Be the voice of the customer to contribute to PCRs and new product design.
  • Deepen and resolve customer aircraft technical issues at delivery.
  • Lead the evolution of the Global and Challenger platform designs to align with market trends; this requires technical knowledge of both the aircraft interior and the eco-friendly aircraft.
  • Ensure liaison with the government affairs team to manage customer entry into Canada and stay up-to-date with changing government requirements in a COVID context.
  • Work with the marketing and communications team on events and trade shows for customers.
  • Manage accurate and timely performance reports, budget, and staffing.
  • Communicate with the secondary market to ensure the quality and performance of the aircraft at delivery.
  • Analyze report data to project trends and establish verifiable forecasts with deadlines.
  • Work closely with other customer-facing teams as well as other functions such as programs, after-sales service, operations, engineering, quality, and logistics.
  • Think ahead to promote Bombardier products, solutions, and brand as well as to reinvent processes to promote business health.
  • Prepare and present to the executive team.
  • Direct supervision responsibilities for a highly experienced team in the aerospace field.

How will you thrive in this role?

  • You hold a university degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • An MBA is an asset.
  • You are self-motivated and can identify, create, and execute strategic projects with minimal supervision.
  • You have a degree in aerospace (an asset). You are passionate about aircraft interior design and customer experience.
  • You have more than 10 years of experience in the aerospace field; a customer service role would be an asset.
  • You demonstrate an understanding of complex financial processes and governance requirements.
  • You have a team spirit and can easily build a network and obtain support from various functions within the organization.
  • You have experience working with large aerospace organizations.
  • You demonstrate your ability to develop long-term strategic relationships with business decision-makers.
  • You demonstrate your effectiveness in identifying opportunities and improving business processes.
  • You demonstrate your ability to define and implement new methods of achieving and tracking business requirements.
  • You have excellent analytical and written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have good organizational skills, including setting priorities, scheduling, time management, and developing new business while respecting deadlines.
  • You have a keen eye for detail.
  • You speak both English and French fluently.
