At the CISSS des Laurentides, respiratory therapists practice generalist medicine in a stimulating environment, across several clinical sectors, and play a key role in the care journey of users.

Several positions currently available: Part-Time:

• Night shift
• Evening/night rotation shifts
• Full-Time:
• Night shift
• Evening shift
• Day/night rotation shifts

Responsibilities

• Assess the cardiopulmonary condition of users
• Contribute to anesthesia activities
• Treat issues affecting the cardiopulmonary system
• Participate in research, health promotion, and disease prevention activities
• Ensure the proper and optimal functioning of equipment
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate teaching to users, their families, and various groups
• Participate in the teaching of cardiopulmonary care and inhalation therapy techniques

Requirements

• Holder of a college diploma in inhalation therapy
• Member of the Professional Order of Respiratory Therapists of Quebec (OPIQ)
• International and/or No Work Permit Candidates
