IT Business Relationship Advisor

As an IT Business Relationship Advisor, you will play an advisory role with the various business partners served by the Vice Presidency Technology Function Support Movement and the Desjardins Security Office. You will be involved in various operational aspects of IT services, particularly in the context of incident, problem, and dissatisfaction management. You will collaborate with them to identify business impacts and ensure that they are communicated to the involved IT teams in order to guide interventions aimed at resolving incidents and problems. In this context, you will demonstrate excellent stress management and remain effective in critical situations, while ensuring clear communication and rigorous follow-up with stakeholders. You will serve as an example and recommendation in stability practices and influence the various partners in improving their practices. Specifically, you will be tasked with:
- Targeting, capturing, analyzing, and interpreting the information and data necessary to support the decision-making process of management and the application of policy and management practice control processes. Making appropriate recommendations
- Preparing and recommending action plans that will help correct the situations encountered, in accordance with generally accepted benchmarks and rules
- Managing major incidents affecting VPTFSMBSD services while maintaining a clear view of business impacts and demonstrating rigor and speed in the dissemination of incident follow-up messages
- Optimizing the resolution time of major incidents
- Ensuring the fulfillment of service levels and reliable, continuous, and uninterrupted operation
- Developing and maintaining a trusting relationship on solid foundations with the sectors served by VPTFSMBSD
- Influencing and structuring IT Officers and their teams on topics within your area of expertise
- Demonstrating good handling of business colleagues and ensuring constant and quality follow-up, both in incidents and on less urgent matters
- Drawing on your good knowledge of ITIL processes to propose improvement paths for the VP

What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
- At least four years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience in creating and maintaining IT business relationships
- French language proficiency required
- Mastery of ITIL processes, particularly incident and problem management as well as change authorization
- Knowledge of the information technology domain
- Availability for 24/7 on-call rotation with compensation for managing major incidents in your sector
